Superb 19th-century camphor wood marine chest with a Hong Kong stamp. This beautiful chest was made in Hong Kong, which was a British colony at the time. It also bears a poster on its side indicating that the chest traveled by ship, departing from Sydney. This is unusual and adds to its charm. This British naval chest features the typical brass protection of this style of furniture and carrying handles on the side. A small and uncommon model. Beautiful flame Camphor wood was a used at the time because it is resistant to woodworm. These chests were used on British naval ships. Superb patina and in perfect condition. Dutch Marquetry Display Cabinet Circa 1800

A superb and rare Dutch display cabinet from the late 18th/early 19th century made from marquetry of light woods such as boxwood and satinwood on a walnut background. A superb example of Dutch craftsmanship, this beautiful cabinet with canted corners features two solid doors in the lower section and two glazed doors in the upper section, concealing three shelves. It is unusual to find cabinets with doors in the lower section, which is practical for storing dishes or other items. The lower section is decorated with bouquets of flowers, censers, and numerous inlaid wooden flowers. In the upper section, we also find numerous flowers and a central medallion depicting a man. It rests on claw feet. Superb keyhole escutcheons with figures. The display cabinet has been completely hand polished in our workshops. In perfect condition with a superb patina. Superb quality. This beautiful table features eight legs, which is important for its stability given its considerable length. straight legs ending with casters. The table includes four solid mahogany extensions with friezes, plus three additional extensions in stained white wood. With here four extensions, it measures 3.75 meters long The table and its four extensions are made of solid mahogany and have been hand polished in our workshops. Therefore, it can be used in a decoration without a tablecloth. The three additional extensions can be added if needed for a large dinner. With its 7 extensions, this table can accommodate 22 people. It has been hand-polished in our workshops and has a superb patina. This unique table features a superb base with a central ace decorated with foliage. The base is carved at both the top and bottom, reminiscent of lace or scales (our first in 50 years). The base is connected by a wooden stretcher with a coat of arms in its center. The table is topped with aa magnificent 89cm wide and thick tabletop, also featuring carved lacework.
