Carole Grandgirard is a French painter born in 1972. Passionate about art, she trained alongside more traditional studies in drawing and painting.
First at the Boulle school, then at the Duperré school.

Her talent is exercised on the canvas in an essentially figurative approach. In perpetual research and experimentation, Carole Grandgirard uses existing photos (magazines, films, archives, etc.) as a starting point for her works. She reworks them on software to capture only the contrasts, shadows, lights, volumes which she transcribes into painting like a new language.
