A life size stoneware figure, executed by VILLEROY & BOCH standing  on a pedestal, late 19th century. Marked Villeroy & Boch Merzig an der Saar, Germany Saarland. This factory opened in 1879. Representing a Sister carrying her little brother. Reference to this work: 1872 ein Modell eines ihr kleines Brüderchen huckepacktragenden Mädchens, das er unter anderem auf der Wiener Weltausstellung zeigte  The sculpture is signed and dated : Wagmüller 1871.
